Well hey,

Let me tell you a little about myself.

I grew up in Toronto, Canada jumping from apartment to apartment, coffee shop to coffee shop, and bar to bar. Post-secondary landed me at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) where I studied New Media, during which time I adopted a mantra of "Let's do it– either we already know how or we're going to figure it out".

I cut my teeth in hospitality when I was young and attribute much of my professional success to it today. It gave me an appreciation for hard work, showed me the value of empathy and sincerity in everyday interactions, and taught me how to do 20 things at once with a smile on my face.

Restaurant work paid my bar tab through university, and then as soon as I graduated,
I sold everything I owned and hopped on a plane to London, England. I spent the majority of my time there as a UX designer at a start-up, before ultimately giving in to my love of coffee and joining a small shop as manager.

After a year abroad and some inspiring conversations with regulars who worked in the industry, I knew that advertising was for me. Toronto felt like the city to start in, so after much deliberation I caught a flight back and found an agency that was willing to take a chance on me. I jumped quickly from accounts intern to production coordinator, to producer - and now here we are.

I spend my free time going to shows, rock climbing, and cooking with the music turned up as loud as my neighbours can bare.

If you ever want to talk ads, punk music or just kill some time, feel free to give me a shout on any of the platforms below.

Cheers,

Spencer
